  Hearing Protector Fit-Testing Administrator Training - Practicum

This course is the hands-on portion of the Hearing Protector Fit-Testing (HPFT) Administrator Training Course. The practicum will provide participants with practical skills to teach others how to conduct HPFT using identified best practices. During the practicum, participants will be introduced to HPFT equipment and will be required to demonstrate a successful fitting using at least 3 different types of hearing protectors. Upon registration for this course, participants will be sent a link to the didactic part of the course on milSuite. By the end of the didactic and practicum courses, participants will be able to develop and implement a HPFT practicum course for teaching and evaluating students on HPFT best practice approaches to HP fittings. Participants should be actively working with a hearing conservation program, must have access to milSuite, and successfully complete the online course prior to the practicum. Class is limited to 30 participants. It is a 2-hour practicum. Held on Tuesday (3/5) afternoon.

Exhibit hall CEUs will once again be available at JDVAC 2025 thanks to our exhibitor partners. Select exhibitors will be providing 15 minute evidence-based presentations. Attendees will earn .5 CEUs for every 2 sessions they attend and may earn up to 2.5 total CEUs from these offerings. These exhibitor presentations will be available throughout the conference during all designated times on the agenda and may be accessible through the Attendee Hub app as well.

Conference Cancellation Policy: Once your registration is complete and processed, you will be charged $75 fee for cancellation. No refunds will be granted after billing.
